Can my patio awning be used in the rain?

All our fabrics are coated to allow them to be used in the rain; however, in order to do so the awning must be set at an angle of 14 degrees or greater to allow adequate run-off. Awnings should not be folded away wet and should be extended to dry off after a heavy rainfall.
